Job Summary
To support the Payments & Blockchain team, the full-time remote Software Engineer II - Backend will design and implement robust services for payments integration, write efficient code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system features.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement services and libraries for payments integration across products
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient backend code
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend Engineering teams to ensure seamless feature integration
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in backend coding with a preference for Rust or Node/Typescript
- Commitment to a security-first mindset in system design
- Ability to debug issues across OS, network, and application layers
- Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as RPC protocols and Kafka
