Software Engineer II, UI/UX
Job Summary
To support the development of innovative software solutions, the full-time Software Engineer II, UI/UX will design, implement, and maintain major features while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clean, efficient code based on sprint commitments while following code standards and best practices
- Lead root-cause analysis for complex defects and improve development processes for the team
- Mentor newer engineers and contribute to design discussions, planning, and operational excellence reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on stable, maintainable software
- Strong coding ability in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with the software delivery lifecycle
- Experience with code reviews, design trade-offs, debugging, and production support
- Extensive knowledge of JAVA, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, and Object-Oriented Programming
