Software Engineer III
Job Summary
To support the delivery of high-quality software solutions, the remote Software Engineer III will design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java and Spring Boot while collaborating in a SAFe Agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies
- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to coding standards and conducting code reviews
- Drive complex initiatives from requirements through production release, managing technical risks and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot
- Expert proficiency in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Bash scripting, and AWS services
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and residency in the U.S. for 3 out of the past 5 years
