Software Engineer III
Job Summary
To support the development of impactful digital services, the remote Software Engineer III will estimate and complete development tasks, mentor junior developers, and drive improvements in software engineering processes while working collaboratively within a team.
Key responsibilities:
- Estimate and complete development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with minimal guidance
- Mentor junior developers and improve technical and communication skills within the team
- Assess and diagnose system issues, prioritizing problem areas based on alignment with other practice areas
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Advanced-level knowledge in at least one technical discipline, including front-end, back-end, or full-stack engineering
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production software applications
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to scalable software solutions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
