Software Engineer III
Job Summary
To support complex application development projects, the remote contract Software Engineer III will provide high-level technical direction, oversee systems analysis and design, and mentor less experienced personnel while ensuring the effective operation of supported applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts while providing analytical consulting to meet client goals
- Direct and coordinate development tasks, preparing and managing technical components of project plans
- Prepare and review technical specifications, test plans, and documentation, ensuring clarity and thoroughness
Required qualifications
- Associates degree with 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 8 years of combined higher education and work experience
- Proficiency with application development software and hardware platforms
- Experience coordinating between applications and business units, with a focus on recommending system solutions
- Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities from a project management perspective
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
