Job Summary
Owning the design and implementation of the core domain for a leave management platform, the full-time remote Software Engineer IV will lead backend development in TypeScript/Node.js and C#/.NET, ensuring correctness in calculations related to eligibility, entitlement, and pay while mentoring other engineers and collaborating with product teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement the eligibility, entitlement, and pay domain for the product
- Transform legacy domain services into high-performing code on a modern tech stack
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers while partnering with Product and Engineering leadership
Required qualifications:
- Experience leading design on complex backend systems and guiding other engineers
- Strong backend engineering skills in TypeScript/Node.js and C#/.NET
- Proven experience with domain-driven design and ownership of calculation correctness
- Strong automated-testing discipline using frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
- Experience with MongoDB or similar document-database modeling at production scale
