Software Engineer - Java & Pega
Job Summary
Supporting a mission-critical application modernization program, the full-time Software Engineer - Java & Pega Integration will integrate and sustain Java Spring Boot applications with a Pega-based status tracking system, working in a hybrid environment with on-site requirements in Northern Virginia and Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain API gateway integration between Java Spring Boot applications and Pega-based status tracker
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across Java and Pega integration boundaries
- Update operational runbooks to support application sustainment and ensure continued system functionality
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing and supporting Java applications using Spring Boot and REST integrations
- Hands-on experience integrating with or developing applications on the Pega platform
- U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
