Job Summary
Working alongside experienced engineers, the full-time salaried Software Engineer New Grad will design, implement, test, and improve production-quality database software while contributing to technical discussions and owning well-scoped projects in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop features for the SingleStore database engine and improve query execution and runtime performance
- Build reliable distributed-system components and investigate performance, scalability, and correctness issues
- Write production code, tests, documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional partners
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, completed or expected by the start date
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Programming experience in C++ or C
- Understanding of operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and computer architecture
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based systems
