Software Engineer, Securities Finance
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Software Engineer, Securities Finance will build and manage backend systems for lending and borrowing products, enhancing brokerage customer experiences and driving new revenue through partner-facing APIs and operational processes.
Key responsibilities
- Own projects from initial problem discussions to production deployment, ensuring systems are reliable and efficient
- Develop and improve systems for securities lending and short borrowing, focusing on scalability and performance
- Participate in on-call duties, addressing issues promptly and implementing long-term solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building distributed systems in production environments
- Proficiency in Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of computer fundamentals, networks, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and evaluating existing API designs
