Software Engineer - Security

Job Summary

Building infrastructure that enhances developer experience, the full-time Software Engineer - Security will focus on creating workload identity systems, implementing identity-based authentication, and unifying authorization processes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build workload identity infrastructure to integrate short-lived identity credentials into application runtime environments
• Implement identity-based authentication for internal services and drive migration from static secrets
• Develop a centralized interface for managing and enforcing authorization policies across the organization

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on security-related platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of secrets management, fine-grained authorization, and workload identity systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and authentication/authorization technologies such as JWTs and X.509 certificates
• Experience building and operating production infrastructure with an emphasis on availability and failure modes
• Proven ability to drive cross-team adoption of platform capabilities or lead large-scale migrations
