Software Engineer - SQL Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer- Database & SQL Developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and debug database queries, maintain existing systems, and create new queries for reports and visualizations
- Engage in product refinement, brainstorming sessions, and proof-of-concept implementations
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, support strategic launch plans, and promote cross-team collaboration
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of experience
- 2 years of experience with RDBMS technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with performance tuning T-SQL code and best practices for relational data structures
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with web application development
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including coding standards and testing
