Software Engineer Supervisor
Job Summary
Leading a team of control system programmers and software engineers, the full-time salaried Software Engineer Supervisor will develop and maintain software solutions for FORT Systems' customers, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to industry best practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee systems programming services to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements
- Develop new code and assist with backend programming, ensuring timely delivery of projects
- Establish and maintain programming standards to facilitate consistent code adjustments by team members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant industry certification and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in developing AV-related code and knowledge of AV control systems programming
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as HTML 5, Python, Java, or C(x) languages
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master are a plus
