Software Engineer (TypeScript, DevOps)
Job Summary
Joining the innovative Stargate team, the remote-eligible Software Engineer (TypeScript, API, DevOps) will lead the development of scalable APIs and backend services while contributing to cloud infrastructure management and CI/CD pipeline optimization on a 1099 basis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of scalable APIs and backend services using TypeScript and modern frameworks
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and serverless resources
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software quickly and reliably
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong candidates possessing 4+ years considered
- Expertise in TypeScript development and REST API design/integration
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline design and management
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS for containerized deployments
