Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact team focused on improving developer workflows, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will oversee the development of CI/CD pipelines, mentor engineers, and drive the adoption of AI tools to enhance productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and internal tools, ensuring scalability and security
• Build and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Define and track key metrics to measure developer productivity and satisfaction, using data-driven insights to prioritize initiatives

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing engineering teams
• Strong understanding of developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, and hands-on experience with AI coding tools
• Demonstrated ability to operate at the AI Augmented level or above, with experience coaching others on AI-assisted development
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with experience assessing and developing AI fluency
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate AI capabilities to non-technical audiences
