Job Summary
To support a mission-driven pediatric health care organization, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will manage and mentor a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tech-enabled solutions, and facilitate the execution of the technical roadmap.
Key responsibilities
- Build, develop, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to shape data models and integration decisions while communicating technical requirements to business stakeholders
- Drive progress on technical initiatives, ensuring timely and iterative product development while maintaining a balance between speed and robust systems
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a management role
- Experience managing teams within a cloud-based tech stack, preferably AWS
- Demonstrated ability to navigate change and drive progress amid ambiguous requirements
- Passion for developing engineers and improving engineering outcomes
- Experience in earlier-stage or scale-up companies, preferably in healthcare
