Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Managing the development and implementation of web-based applications, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will oversee a high-performing engineering team, ensuring project success through collaboration, mentorship, and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and empower a high-performing software engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, and performance management
• Ensure collaboration across disciplines to enhance product quality and delivery speed while managing project planning and execution
• Advocate for customer-centric objectives and drive continuous improvement in Agile processes within the team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five to seven years in Software Engineering
• Proven management skills of enterprise-level websites and experience with large-scale web applications using Microsoft technologies
• Strong knowledge of cross-discipline technologies, including React and cloud infrastructure
• Ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Healthcare background is a plus
