Job Summary
Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will oversee the Data Import team, focusing on building critical document processing systems using modern C#/.NET on AWS in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, managing hiring, onboarding, and performance
- Own the team's delivery outcomes, including planning, prioritization, and resource management
- Provide technical direction for document-processing pipelines while improving engineering practices and incident response
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Approximately 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and backend product engineering, including cloud-service integration
- Working knowledge of AWS serverless architectures or equivalent cloud-native technologies
- Experience managing production support for business-critical services and effectively onboarding new engineers
