Leading a team of senior engineers, the full-time remote Software Engineering Manager will define the vision and roadmap for Mobile App Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on app architecture, developer productivity, and performance while making hands-on technical contributions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision and roadmap for mobile app infrastructure, enhancing app architecture and developer productivity
- Lead and grow a team to build a mobile app platform that empowers engineers to deliver user-facing features efficiently
- Build trust and alignment across engineering, product, design, and leadership on cross-team initiatives
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on mobile app and web engineering experience, including 3+ years with React Native
- Experience managing and growing engineering teams for at least 3 years
- Proven track record of building and delivering consumer-facing mobile apps end to end
- Experience scaling a mobile app to over 1 million monthly active users
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
