Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will develop and retain software engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure customer-centric product design and successful incremental releases, with remote work permitted four days a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a results-driven engineering operation by setting measurable performance goals and providing regular feedback to the team
- Collaborate with architects and product managers to define design approaches aligned with the product vision
- Ensure adherence to best engineering practices and facilitate effective communication across departments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in software engineering or a related position
- At least 6 years of experience in project/product development and system architecture implementation
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, C#/.Net, and database design and implementation
- Experience with XML applications and scripting languages such as Python or Scala
