Software Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a remote team of software developers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will guide and grow the engineering team, oversee the development and maintenance of features for a SaaS product, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in full stack software development, including code reviews and deployment events
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of UI and Server developers, ensuring alignment across technical teams
- Identify and implement improvements in engineering operations, collaborating with Project Managers and stakeholders to define project vision and requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of software development experience in distributed client-server architectures
- 3+ years of software engineering management experience
- Expertise in software design and architecture, including CI/CD and API development
- Experience in mentoring and providing feedback to engineering developers
