Job Summary
Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will oversee the development and enhancement of a mobile application, ensuring high-quality code and effective team management in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4-6 software engineers, focusing on their growth and performance
- Set engineering standards and guide architectural decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
- Collaborate with product management to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs while balancing short-term and long-term platform investments
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in React Native mobile engineering
- Experience in maintaining and extending mobile back-end or API applications in an engineering management or tech lead role
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments, primarily AWS
- Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning and continuous deployment
- Ability to provide on-call support on a rotating basis
