Job Summary
Leading a high-performing software engineering team, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will drive the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of innovation in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-caliber team of software engineers while promoting an open and energized culture
- Drive technical direction and ensure that engineering practices align with quality, performance, and security goals
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to establish team objectives and facilitate regular coaching and mentoring sessions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building systems using PHP, Go, Python, Typescript, Angular, Ruby, etc
- 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams with a proven track record of developing senior talent
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Cloud Computing is desirable
- Solid knowledge of relational database systems and experience with both backend and frontend development
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
