Job Summary
Leading a team of software and systems engineers, the full-time Software Engineering Manager will oversee the AI infrastructure platform's roadmap, architecture, and reliability while collaborating with research teams to translate their needs into platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, hire, and grow a team of engineers, including senior and staff-level members
- Manage the end-to-end development of the AI infrastructure platform, ensuring its reliability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering quality and automation at scale
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- Proven experience in building and running large-scale distributed systems in production
- Hands-on expertise in workload scheduling, resource management, or Kubernetes-based platforms
- Experience in managing reliability for critical services, including incident response and postmortems
