Software Engineering Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading a team of 3 to 5 engineers in a full-time remote role, the Software Engineering Team Lead will manage AWS infrastructure design and implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery of business-critical systems while mentoring team members and collaborating with client stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers while overseeing project delivery and prioritization
- Guide the design and implementation of multi-region AWS architecture, ensuring redundancy and scalability
- Review code and designs across backend and frontend components, maintaining high standards for quality and security
Required qualifications:
- BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with at least 2 years in a management role
- Significant hands-on experience designing and operating production systems on AWS
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and/or Terraform
- Experience building production front-end applications with React and TypeScript
