Job Summary
Leading a team of localization engineers, the full-time Manager, Software Localization Engineering will drive innovation through automation and AI-enabled solutions while managing localization technology platforms in a hybrid work environment based in Cary, North Carolina or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Guide the strategic direction and execution of localization engineering activities in alignment with business goals
- Oversee the evolution of localization platforms and services, ensuring scalable integrations across product systems
- Champion localization best practices and continuously measure and improve localization productivity and operational performance
Required qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a technical localization management role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- Solid experience with AI/ML technologies and programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
- Familiarity with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and automated localization testing frameworks
- Flexibility to participate in meetings outside standard working hours to support global collaboration
