Job Summary
Leading a team of 7-10 developers, the full-time Software Manager will coach, prioritize product delivery, and contribute to both backend and frontend code in a fully remote environment while overseeing the execution of sprints and managing production reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Coaching and conducting performance reviews for team members to foster growth and development
- Collaborating with the Product lead to translate the roadmap into actionable sprint plans while identifying trade-offs and risks
- Managing sprint execution and release processes to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery of software
Required qualifications
- Experience with telematics data, including GPS tracking and ELD systems
- 3+ years of experience managing software developers in an established company
- Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- 5+ years of experience writing production code, with recent contributions in the last 12 months
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as .NET or Node.js and frontend frameworks like React and TypeScript
