Software Manager, Middleware
Job Summary
Leading a team in the development and implementation of myQ middleware software, the full-time Software Manager, Middleware will manage project planning, resource allocation, and team supervision in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day management of software engineering projects to ensure timely and quality execution
- Plan and track project resources, schedules, and budgets for new and ongoing initiatives
- Establish guidelines and best practices while providing technical leadership and continuous improvement for middleware development
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; additional experience may substitute for education
- 7 years of job-related experience with at least 3 years in software development leadership
- Experience in middleware or backend IoT system development using C#, .NET, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficient knowledge of SQL Server, C#, and object-oriented design and development
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum development practices
