Job Summary
To support the development and commercialization of software solutions for sacropelvic conditions, the part-time independent contractor Software Product Manager will engage in upstream product management activities, focusing on UX/UI design, software verification, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and regulatory teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to guide software product development
- Lead strategy for UX/UI and software application design, ensuring alignment with user requirements
- Conduct market research and support go-to-market planning for new products or enhancements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of experience in software product management or a Master's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry, particularly in software product management or product marketing
- Hands-on experience with pre-operative planning or surgical navigation software
- Familiarity with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) development and relevant regulatory standards
- Proven ability to manage external software development partners and translate user needs into actionable requirements
