Software QA Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance software quality, the full-time remote Software QA Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for internal tools and APIs while integrating AI-enabled testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated regression suites using Playwright or a comparable framework
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes to ensure continuous testing without manual intervention
- Act as the release quality gate, making informed decisions based on automated test results and documenting risks when necessary
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with automated test suites using Playwright or similar frameworks (Cypress, Selenium/WebDriver)
- Experience testing UI and API layers, including integration testing and API contract reasoning
- Proven ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Practical experience with AI tooling for software testing, including test generation and defect triage
- Strong skills in defect isolation, reproduction, and writing actionable bug reports
