Job Summary
Leading a company-wide QA team in a fully remote, full-time capacity, the Software QA Manager will balance business priorities with technical improvements, oversee testing strategies, and mentor staff while ensuring software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the QA team, including offshore resources, by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews
- Lead QA planning and prioritize requests based on business value, product risk, and available capacity while developing a long-term QA improvement plan
- Guide full-stack testing and automation, ensuring comprehensive test strategies and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the United States
- A completed bachelor's degree or higher
- Substantial software QA experience, including hands-on automation design and implementation
- Experience managing technical employees or serving as a technical team lead
- Full-stack testing experience spanning user interfaces, APIs, backend services, databases, and system integrations
