Job Summary
To ensure the quality and functionality of software products, the full-time Software Quality Assurance Specialist will design and maintain test cases, identify defects, and collaborate with development and product teams while working remotely from Quintana Roo or Yucat n, Mexico.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, author, and maintain structured test plans and test cases across Desktop, Web, and Mobile platforms
- Validate application behavior against functional user stories and document detailed bug reports in Jira
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers to design effective test strategies and participate in Scrum ceremonies
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on QA experience in an Agile/Scrum software engineering team
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with defect trackers like Jira and test management platforms such as TestRail
- Proficient in testing applications across Desktop, Web, and Mobile environments
- Experience collaborating with distributed, US-based engineering teams
