Software Quality Engineer
Job Summary
To support software quality assurance and AI-powered test automation on a government client engagement, the mid-level Software Quality Engineer will validate application changes and integrations, execute various testing methodologies, and ensure reliable testing outcomes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and exploratory testing
- Validate AI-generated test cases and investigate failures using various tools
- Document defects, track remediation, and maintain test documentation and traceability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of software testing, QA, or quality engineering experience
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, and exploratory testing
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Ability to complete required government background/vetting documentation and security training
