Software Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Participating in an Agile-based product development group, the full-time Software Quality Engineer will define test strategies, execute manual and automated tests, and ensure overall product quality while collaborating with the Scrum Team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define test strategies and create, execute, and document test cases to ensure thorough testing of product components
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and drive continuous improvement of testing and development practices
- Participate in team meetings and oversee the creation of test environments for effective test execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of software testing experience with various technologies
- Technical knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server configurations
- Working knowledge of relational databases and strong SQL skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and open-source test automation tools for web and API applications
