Job Summary
Supporting the release management process for widely used productivity applications, the full-time remote Software Release Engineer will manage release notes, coordinate pre-Patch Tuesday activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage release notes and technical documentation for external software releases
- Coordinate pre-Patch Tuesday activities, including release preparation and task tracking
- Support desktop and mobile application release processes, including Mac and iOS releases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in software release management or a related technical operations role
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing and maintaining technical specifications
- Experience managing software releases and release schedules
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple release activities and deadlines
