Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
To support the ISD team, the remote Software Systems Engineer will own and evolve an AI-enabled tooling platform, focusing on Python development, GitHub migration, and secure data management over a 6+ month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and extend existing Python toolkits, Claude agents, and integrations supporting the ISD team
- Lead migration of the shared library into GitHub, including repository architecture and CI/CD processes
- Develop scanning and controls to prevent confidential data from entering repositories while enabling user-friendly installations
Required Qualifications
- Deep hands-on experience with Claude Code and agentic AI development
- Strong Python development and testing experience, preferably with lightweight solutions
- Experience migrating codebases into GitHub and establishing secure data-management practices
- Production experience with RAG systems, including source grounding and citations
- Strong understanding of confidential data handling and access controls
