Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on testing enterprise and informatics software systems to support cancer trials and research, the full-time Software Test Engineer will work mostly remotely while contributing to testing tasks, developing test scenarios, and writing automated tests integrated with the CI/CD pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritize and complete testing tasks on assigned projects as an individual contributor
- Develop test scenarios and procedures to ensure software systems are scalable, reliable, and performant
- Participate in SCRUM Sprint planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to move features across all tiers in a CI/CD Agile environment
Required qualifications
- 3 years of software testing experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#/.NET, or Javascript
- Experience testing hardware and software for enterprise systems running in the Azure cloud environment
- Working knowledge of agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
- Possession of a Bachelor or Graduate degree in a technical field such as Computer Science from an accredited institution
- Experience using Git, GitHub, and behavior-driven development frameworks like Cucumber
