Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support a government modernization initiative, the full-time Software Test Engineer will perform hands-on testing of enterprise applications built using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Government, ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts while performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and assist with release readiness and deployment validation activities
• Support UAT activities and prepare test scenarios that reflect real-world operational workflows, ensuring application readiness prior to production releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of software testing or quality assurance experience supporting enterprise applications
• Experience developing and executing functional test cases, integration tests, regression tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience with Agile software development environments and using defect and test management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
