Software Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support critical national security missions, the full-time remote Software Test Engineer will manage the planning, design, execution, and reporting of software tests while ensuring quality and adherence to requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute software testing processes, including test planning, case preparation, and defect tracking
- Review business and software requirements for gaps and testability, providing administrative support and insights
- Train and mentor junior software engineers while collaborating with the software development team throughout the development process
Required qualifications
- Active secret clearance is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or a high school diploma with 13 years of experience in a related field
- Security+ certification is required; AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred
- Experience with software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity T&E processes and DoD Risk Management Framework
