Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Software Test Engineer, this remote position will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring software quality and compliance with organizational standards while utilizing strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders for resolution of issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and ensure high-quality deliverables
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with both manual and automated testing, including familiarity with test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
