Software Testing Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Licensing and Prelicensing Departments, the full-time Software Testing Analyst will be responsible for testing and verifying software solutions, building effective test plans and cases, and ensuring the functional correctness of applications in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct software verification throughout all phases of the development life cycle, including planning, design, implementation, and testing
- Write and execute manual system-level test cases, analyze results, and report defects while collaborating with analysts, Product Owners, and developers
- Provide continuous risk assessment and timely escalation of software quality concerns while supporting project planning activities
Required qualifications
- Technical Trade or business school education in project management, technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing
- Strong hands-on skills in writing test cases and protocols, with a thorough understanding of testing methodologies
- Experience with tools like Jira and TestRail, and proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with Agile Application Development and Scrum methodologies
