Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to meet organization standards
- Lead tests of software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results effectively
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and contribute to the resolution of open issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in tools like JIRA
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
