Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for information systems products
- Lead testing of software and IT systems, documenting results and resolving complex issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing strategies and objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
