Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead software testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, while documenting and communicating test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve complex issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, and JMeter
- Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and transactions, particularly with Edifecs
