Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure compliance with organization standards while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software products
- Lead testing efforts, documenting results and communicating findings to stakeholders
- Provide technical solutions and improvements to testing processes and methodologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
