Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure compliance with organizational standards while leading quality assurance efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze test results, resolve issues, and provide technical solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and Edifecs software
