Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring that software products meet organizational standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and contribute to the improvement of testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as JMeter, Java, Python, and Git
