Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To ensure high-quality deliverables in software testing, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software tests, and document results while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance of software products
- Document test results and provide analysis to resolve issues while reporting progress to management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter
- U.S. Citizenship required, with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
