Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document results while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
- Document and communicate test results, support analysis, and resolve open issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and performance testing tools like JMeter
