Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Software Testing Principal, the candidate will develop and execute test plans, manage testing processes, and ensure software quality for information systems within the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead software testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, while documenting and communicating results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing with a focus on complex projects
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools and defect tracking systems
- Understanding of various testing types, including functional, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
