Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans and procedures, lead software testing efforts, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead software testing initiatives, including manual and automated testing, and document test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, or C#
